There are three levels in the Business Hierarchy of Needs®:

Level 2: Knowledge and Change Management
Level 3: Implementation
Level 1 is about needs of a strong foundational base required for a business to thrive and achieve its Most Important Goal. This level addresses Mission, Vision, Values and Value proposition which defines who the company is and how to build a strategic plan that addresses the needs of all stakeholders. This book introduces the "Where to Play" and "How To Win" methodology for building robust strategic plans.
Level 2 is the bridge between strategy and results: People and Organization. In this level, senior and middle level leaders are presented with the elements of Knowledge and Change Management that must be considered to get alignment and agreement in the organization on the company's future state as defined in its strategic plans. These elements include organization structure, training, compensation, hiring practices, succession planning, and accountability.
Level 3 provides readers with the important elements, tools, and approach to implementing the projects and the redesign of business processes that move the company from its current state to its desired future state.
The 29 elements of the Business Hierarchy of Needs® are all related and required for implementing strategy. This book provides the readers with that recipe for addressing them in an integrated and holistic way thereby turning strategy into results and realizing a "Culture of Strategic Execution™".
