Strange Detective Mysteries is a science-fiction steampunk fantasy where several of the leading creative minds of the early 1900s are brought together to look into the death of Edgar Allen Poe and discover a conspiracy that threatens to destroy all time and reality in this techno science fiction thriller. The saga begins with famed Western lawman Bat Masterson summoned to a mysterious meeting in 1902 New York City. Upon arriving, he finds several others have been summoned. These men are some of the most brilliant minds of the new century; H. G. Wells, Arthur Conan Doyle, Harry Houdini and Nikola Tesla. When they are finally greeted by their aged host, Robert Tyler, they find that this rich patron has brought them together to solve the mystery of the murder of America's foremost literary genius, Edgar Allan Poe.

About the Author

Terry Pavlet is a graduate from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with BFA's in Illustration, Graphic Design, and Advertising. As a freelance artist, he has worked with clients as diverse as Disney, Wizards of the Coast, Image Comics, Playboy, Ballentine Books, and many others. He has received numerous industry awards and nominations.

Sam Gafford has been involved in the study of Weird Literature and has written extensively on H.P. Lovecraft. He is considered one of the world's leading authorities on pioneering horror and SF author, William Hope Hodgson. He has written for a number of comic book companies and just finished a graphic novel biography of H.P. Lovecraft.

Rosaria Battiloro is an illustrator and comic artist from Italy. Graduating from the Fine Art College in Naples, she has worked with many publishers providing covers for books and comics as well as children's' picture books.
