About the Author

William Johnstone Taylor has been an active investigator for more than forty years and is the Director of the William J. Taylor Agency. He was Chief Investigator and a consultant on a number of high-publicity cases, including The Karen Silkwood case, featured in the movie Silkwood, the kidnapping and murder of Charles Harmon in Santiago, Chile, depicted in the movie Missing, and many other nationally and internationally renowned investigations. Mr. Taylor is a former Marine Corps Criminal Investigator and Intelligence Officer. He served three tours of duty in the Republic of South Vietnam. He has been a featured speaker for The Association of American Trail Lawyers, Florida Bar Association, Pace University School of Law, Connecticut Bar Association, and many other organizations throughout the years. Mr. Taylor is a Lifetime Member of The Federal Criminal Investigators Association, a past member of the International Police Congress, a former member of the Florida Secretary of State Private Security Council, Florida Association of Licensed Investigators, Central Florida Criminal Justice Council, Private Investigators Association of Florida, and Past President of the Florida Association of Private Investigators. Stolen Angels is his first Jake Storm novel. He lives in Pickens County, Georgia, with his wife, dog, and two cats.
