Overview

No classic work lends itself better to Steampunk illustrations than The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, and "The Country of the Blind," written by H.G. Wells, who many consider to be the father of Steampunk itself. Wells's tales of time travel and scientific romance is the perfect collection to the Steampunk series. Fans old and new will be delighted by Basic and Sumberac's four-color illustrations spiked with Steampunk machinery, gadgets, and fashion.

What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"...The publisher had made the right choice and not attempted to modify or create new content. Instead, Steampunk Poe simply provides some of Poe’s best works, both short story and poetry, along with some beautiful custom artwork created just for the book by illustrators Zdenko Basic and Manuel Sumberac... My steampunk library grows constantly, and while there are many books on my shelf that I’ve enjoyed over the years, only a small number exist that I’ll reach for in years to come for a re-read. Steampunk Poe is one of those." Geekdad from wired.com, review of Steampunk: Poe
