Starkrimson Takes a Ride
Starkrimson is a little demigod with a very big job. He is charged with maintaining the balance between the forces of good and evil of the entire universe, a job he is uniquely suited for since he is actually part god and part devil. From the Garden of Fabulous Fruits, he must travel far and wide, resolving the conflicts and quarrels that arise among the various gods, demons, spirits, and curious supernatural beings that populate the many realms of the universe. Starkrimson manages to do this by using his ingenuity and creativity and a little help from his mother Gro-Gro (the Celestial Cockatoo), Hutch (the Fabulous Cloud Runner), and a few of his other magical friends. The Starkrimson picturebook series is presented as a vehicle for parents and their young children to share a delightful journey into the realm of the imagination-a journey they will want to enjoy again and again. It is also meant to serve as a stepping stone toward fostering in children a worldview of tolerance that will allow them to embrace the cultural and religious diversity they will encounter throughout their lives, and to see this diversity as part of what imparts beauty to the world.
