The story is a fantasy about a rock band from Texas, The Rockets, that stows away aboard a top secret NASA space freighter headed for a space station in another universe, Star Base. On the way to Star Base, Cassie Jones, the main character, informs her fellow band members: her boyfriend, sister, and best friend, that her sexual preference is women. Her boyfriend is thrilled, not realizing at the time that Cassie is telling him that it’s over, because he has always wanted to have a girlfriend that has a girlfriend. That also leaves lots of lonely straight men on Star Base for her sister and best friend. Luckily for Cassie, there are two planets close to Star Base that are occupied mostly with bisexual and gay women. Cassie becomes romantically involved with a smoking hot female Czar whose military intercepts the freighter on its way to Star Base. The Czar also helps the band get rich and famous and prevents them from being deported back to Earth. When The Rockets finally reach Star Base, Cassie becomes interested in a beautiful female fighter pilot that serves on Star Base. A love triangle ensues among Cassie, the Czar, and the pilot which results in marriage, divorce, blackmail, and murder.
