About the Author

The author Sri Mannava Satyam is a disciple of 'Pujya Sri Sadguru Sri Bharadwaja Master, Ongole, Prakasam Dist. A.P. He was influenced by the teachings of Sadguru Bharadwaja Master many decades ago and became a devotee of Shirdi Sai. He stood in the forefront in all the programmes of Sri Sai Master which aimed at the removal of superstitions, false philosophy and the promotion of real spiritual values in life.
He was also the founder member of Shirdi Sai Cultural Mission, the first spiritual organisation, started by Sri Master in Vidyanagar, Near Gudur, Nellore District. Sri Satyam took an active part in the construction of the temple and in "Satsang" meetings there. He also worked as the founder General Secretary for Sai Baba Mission started by Sri Master. Besides he worked for many years as the editor of 'Sai Baba' Magazine and also as the personal secretary of Sri Master. He contributed his humble mite to the organization of Sai Baba Temples at Vidyanagar, Gudur, Ongole & Chirala. Sri Satyam also took an active part in the publication of Sri Sai Leelamrutham and other books of Sri Sai Master. He also wrote many articles about Sri Sai and Sri Master. Besides this Sri Satyam did 'Sadhana' under the direct supervision of Sri Master. He visited Shirdi more than 60 times. He had also visited many saints and received their blessings. He received special blessings from Sri Golagamudui Venkayya Swamy. He was the only lucky disciple who received the Gayatri Mantra from Sri Master at the time of thread Ceremony. The famous song 'Sai Mandiram'. which we hear in many temples today is written by Sri Satyam. Now he spends most of his time in meditation and prayer and guides people on the spiritual path. Now Guruswamy Mannava Satyam is being called as Sadananda Maharshi by advise of some saints.
