Will Katie’s emotions harden due to her past experiences? She had a tough time trusting when things were not what they seemed to be. Cleveland Ohio was her destination after graduating from high school. After her good friend was murdered Katie elected to stay put near the college. She had ambitions to be an FBI agent, but circumstances may have changed that goal. Her thinking became clouded because of her perplexed circumstances to the point where her reliance on God’s guidance becomes vital. This is Ms. Peterson’s 2nd book in the Grace Restored series and is just as wonderful as the first. There are unexpected twists and turns throughout, realistic issues that are not very pleasant but are intriguing and keep the reader turning the pages. There is light that pierces darkness in the plot; scripture reference is weaved in and will enlighten the reader with a message of a sovereign God’s grace and love.

CJ Peterson has done it again with the 2nd book in this series! She leaves you wanting more, and impatiently waiting on the next installment. This is a great book, full of Christian values, but also full of the dark side that taunts all of us. I can't wait to read the next book, and watch Katie's life, and the lives of those around her develop further.
