The author accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1981 through the inspiration of a paralyzed child whom she was nursing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music therapy from Montclair State College, Montclair, New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her certificate in biblical studies at Victory Bible Institute, Tulsa, under the late pastors Billy Joe Daugherty and Sr. Pastor Sharon Daugherty. She partnered with Peter Psillas in the New Dawn Ministry from 2002–2006, under Pastor Dr. Thomas and Kim Keinath and Pastor Rema Spencer of Calvary Temple, Wayne, New Jersey. She received spirit-filled counsel from Mrs. Dee Verhagan, who is certified through the Elijah House Ministry. She worked as a second-grade teacher at Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center for three years under Ms. Francine Zitz, principal. She was pastored and inspired under Pastor David and Diane Demola, receiving spirit-filled counsel from Dr. Leo Natale for several years. She learned her authority in Christ through Victory in Jesus meetings under the leadership of Reverend Vinny and Nancy Longo.
