About the Author

Scott Cooper is a bullying prevention advocate and has provided workshops on the topic throughout northern California.

He has been a school board president, city youth commissioner, and member of the Sonoma County Advisory Board of Drug Programs. Scott has past experience teaching, coaching basketball, and working as a bilingual aide. He is currently a Working Group member of Child Dignity in the Digital World, a world congress working for the better protection of minors online. He is a COO in private industry and a member of the National Audubon Society.

He is the author of Sticks and Stones: 7 Ways Your Child Can Deal with Teasing, Conflict, and Other Hard Times (Harmony, 2000) and Rock and Water: The Power of Thought, The Peace of Letting Go (DeVorss, 2017).
