Overview

Sparkling Stars is a great example of an anthology series that had something for everyone.
There were plenty of sports stories with Boxie Weaver handling boxing and Speed
Spaulding playing everything from football to crew. There is military humor with Private
Plopp and thrilling World War Two tales with the Hell's Angels, art by a young Carmine
Infantino. There are funny animal stories and humor fantasy stories with Ali Baba. Add
various exploits of private detectives and the F.B.I, Plus science fiction action and
Sparkling Stars provides a potpourri of entertainment.
Sparkling Stars began publishing in June of 1944 by Holyoke Press
All books in this series are available in both color and black & white as well as in hardcover
and soft cover editions.
