Each lesson in the book is divided into 5 parts:
Vocabulary: You will learn more than 500 common words in book 1, including daily vocabulary that people at work, at home, with friends, on trips, etc. Unlike with most Spanish learning books, you'll also learn how vocabulary words can change from one Spanish-speaking country to another. (For example: the word for 'pen' is 'pluma' in Mexico, 'boligrafo' in Argentina, and 'lapicero' in Peru.)
Grammar: Book 1 will teach you how to speak in the present tense. Grammar in book 1 focus on sentence basics: nouns, pronouns, adjectives, regular verbs, and the most common, indispensable irregular verbs. The grammar is thoroughly and clearly explained, and each grammar section is illustrated by many examples.
Exercises: Each lesson has exercises so you can practice the vocabulary, grammar, everyday expressions and pronunciation, and feel yourself progress.
