After ruthless Chaos Space Marines of the Black Legion launch a surprise attack on the crucial industrial world of Garatus, the Second Company of the loyalist Ultramarines Chapter mount a swift counter-attack. Now, they face a sudden uprising of worshippers of the Dark Gods in the bowels of Vanatine Hive, a towering city home to billions.
The Cultists' nefarious plan is quickly revealed – they plan to destroy the hive city with an ancient doomsday device. Squad Artellus have been dispatched into the depths of the hive to put a stop to the plan and prevent the city's doom against a never-ending horde of crazed enemies.
Players must fight through subterranean tunnels to seal off the Cultists' access routes, deactivate the device and make it out alive. Can you work as a team and complete the mission before time runs out? Doomsday Countdown is a 30-minute cooperative game for between one and three players aged 12 and up, including 10 detailed push fit miniatures. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel paints.
