Perry, author of "Black Fatherhood: Exploring The Importance Of The Black Father," takes another in-depth look into a very controversial issue plaguing the black community. This time around Pierre explores domestic violence and abuse against black women. Domestic violence is a crime that affects all races, socioeconomic levels, and cultures. But experts say that black women are at a greater risk to experience the grimmest of all domestic violence statistics. Black women are about 3x's more likely to die at the hands of a partner than members of other racial groups.
