Jocelyne Flores is a queer brown poet who was born and raised in East Los Angeles. They have been exploring their identity through poetry. They have been a featured poet at Stella Adler's Towne Street Theater Open Mic Series. They also have their own organization in their current city of Montebello that pushes for youth to have a place to call their own for creativity, mental health guidance, and mentorship.
