Somniloquy
A man goes in for a heart transplant and ends up in a dance floor. A world where the government is a conglomerate, everyone is more than just a little obese, and someone is speaking out about it. A child's imaginary friend is out of control, and in the end, which one of them wins? A young woman is bed-ridden and her family is selling off her belongings as if she's already dead. These and more, beginning with little vignettes and ending with a substantial finish. There is a poem for each section, giving clues as to what to look for. A few of the stories take place four hundred years in the future in a country called 'New Aranea'. Look out for the novels coming ahead about the war ahead that started out of a few bouts of unkindness.
