Overview

Somewhere in Seattle tells a story about the misfitting Dickens family who despite differences all still love each other as a family. The main character is a single, 29 year old Laura who is a receptionist in a bioscience company but also up holds her previous make-up artist career time to time. We follow Laura's day to day journey from disastrous dates to new career attempts as an Energizer Mascot. Spice to the story brings Laura's mother, the ever so elegant and fabulous TV star from Hollywood Liza Dickens who endlessly desires to surprise her beloved children showing up with out announced in the most un convenient way. She lives in her own glamorous world where parties never end and money is not a problem. Laura's older brother Antti is a writer who falls hopelessly in love with a married woman after almost being married to an African tribal woman. More to the mix bring colorful dear childhood friends that are always dating the wrong people, at least that's what Laura thinks and sparks will fly with sweet crush that will not bring endless love. The story is easy to follow, characters lovable with crazy grabbing story this book will take you away to an entertaining journey.

About the Author

I was born in a beautiful and windy historic harbor town in south Finland called Naantali that is always filled with tourist during the summer months. I’ve had a very rich and colorful career path that eventually led me to work and live here in Pacific North West. I am 44 years old and a mother of one charming young little guy. I had my own charitable business for almost 10 years and now work again from home during Covid. My education background is in theater and film acting and I also am a professional make-up artist. I love to write, compose song, paint paintings and garden. I am an extrovert and easy going bubbly personality. I’ve been lucky to be able to try so many different professions in my life and truly love to create. My dream has been to have my own sitcom on TV but these days hiding behind the story and the text it self is more fun for me than the actual acting. I publish my music under the artist name of Elli Nine and it’s available in all online radios all over the world. I find treasure hunting rewarding and fun past time that ties me to my passion of learning about our history on this earth. I would love to find an audience for my books and hopefully it will find its way to peoples hearts like it has mine. Wold has so much anguish and sad stories that as a person who is very compassionate, I find it making me depressed and worried for the future of this world. This is why I write funny dialog and comedy filled stories that will take you away form all those horror stories that fill our tv every day. I want to make the reader pay more attention on the funny things that happen all around us and hopefully we will share a laugh. I hope you like my story and take a peek at it from amazon. This book was very funny and surprising . It was easy and wonderful to follow the characters with all their problems and just enjoy as the story as it grabbed me along. My favorite parts where the little funny sayings that the main character always came up with and I already read it the second time. Hope it get's a second book for me to enjoy.
