I dedicate this book to her; let's call her 'K'. This book contains my regrets, my inspirations, my fears, and me, in my entirety. With these words, you'll see, or in this case, imagine the world in my eyes. Some of these poems will be magical, some will be relatable, and some will take offence. I write about love, hate, life, death, analogies, metaphors, and pieces that are missing. This book has the words you couldn't find to explain yourself. This book is the home for your lost and forgotten thoughts. What I love most about this book is how genuine and real it is. It comes from both the brightest and darkest parts of my soul that finally unite in collaboration to create this masterpiece. This book, can and will leave you with more questions, questions you need to ask yourself, in hopes that it leads you to understand yourself. If you have followed me for a while, to you I say hello. If I am new to you, hello, my name is Theo, welcome to my mind; welcome to the family.

About the Author

heo E. Angeles, otherwise known as "Tea" is not your typical writer; only 24 years young, but with a soul as old as time. If you could put together all the things that make Theo who he is, think about pine trees, the smell of rain, autumn vibes, cosy outfits, old book shops, Doc Martens, beanies, hot chocolate, caramel slices, and a hand to hold; that's Theo. For Theo, writing has become an escape from the chaotic world he lives in, and to find the beauty in all of that chaos, he projects his emotions in his verses. As a lot of people can relate, escaping reality into a world of your imagination would be far better than facing your problems, especially when you're still learning to face them on your own. Theo has had his fair share of breakups, love triangles, dating partners, trauma, drama, betrayal, isolation, loneliness, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and attempted suicides; even with all those struggles, he's managed to get up and see a new day.

Instead of wallowing in his own darkness, he's decided to share his story, his perspective, and his truth in hopes that his verses can help another "Theo" face their fears. Theo finds his inspiration from his own personal life, diving into his darkest memories, especially the ones that bring him the most pain, taking it up to the surface to face them one last time before he lets them go; a lesson he hopes to pass onto his readers so that they may do the same.
