Overview

David Somerville is your 'normal, run-of-the-mill' science teacher and loyal Lion's Club member. As fate would have it, he wins his local club's lottery which includes a 'normal run-of-mill' hot air balloon ride. As it turns out, neither his ride nor his adventures are 'normal' nor are they 'run-of -the mill'. He encounters strange people, places and things that only apply to 'the privileged few'. Still, throughout his adventures, he not only observes a world of the barely believable , he becomes part of that world forever The world is one of 'hope' or 'holfknong' and he transforms into somebody, someplace, sometime.
The book is one of 'absurdist science fiction' with a bit of humor thrown in, along with a gibbisch or two. Think of the best fantasy book you've ever read. This is just like that, but better.

About the Author

Dr. David B. Somerville is a science teacher who has traveled the world encountering strange adventures in many and varied nooks and crannies on the planet. When asked to give accounts of his travels, he admits that 'nobody would believe him'. In order to make his adventures more believable, and put them in 'true perspective', he decided to write a book and disguise them as fantasy. It is up to the reader to decide where the fantasy ends and the true perspective begins.
