If I was to ask you, how did you break your fast this morning? Like many, you might respond, I am not fasting.

Now consider this, the breakfast you had this morning, was you actually breaking fast. Notice the word breakfast is made up of two words; break fast. Not many of us realise this. In this way, we all have fasted but is this what Christian fasting is all about? Surely not.

This ebook has been written not to be a definitive authority on Fasting but rather as a source to share some thoughts on fasting and to answer the question of what Christian fasting is and what does God expects of us when we fast.
