About the Author

Fred was born in 1951 and raised in the Bronx, New York. He attended Mt. St. Michaels academy for high school and went on to Iona College in New Rochelle, New York where he earned a BA in English literature in 1974.
He and his wife Marilyn have two grown children. His son Freddie is an architect and their daughter Melanie is a registered nurse. They have two grandchildren, Annie Rose and Douglas Nash.
Fred lives in Spring, Texas but will always be a New York Yankees fan! His hobbies include walking, writing, and collecting Western and pirate memorabilia. Fred was also a parent volunteer in the Spring High School Band for twenty-two years and the voice of the band. He remains a loyal fan.
