Micky flees from her older difficult husband to her missing father's mountain cabin in Golcanda, Colorado, and writes down secret memories of the other times she ran away. She is completely on her own -- writing and trying to figure out a future. "GODISNOWHERE," writes Micky; then musician neighbor Andre finds her shot, and Golcanda cafe owner Rose reads her journal. Did she shoot herself? If not, who shot Micky with Andre's gun? In Solotramp the naive teen runaway grows up in a nook between astrologer mother and evangelical dad in mid-century. Daddy goes missing when she's ten. She constantly wishes Daddy to return, and now in 1970, Micky prays to lose her memory.
