About the Author

Dr. G.R.Rajakumar, Assistant Professor of Soil Science, Department of Natural Resource Management, College of Forestry, Sirsi was born on 28.05.1968 in Chitradurga District, Karnataka, India. He obtained his B.Sc.(Agri.) degree from College of Agriculture, Raichur, Karnataka during the year 1991, M.Sc. (Agri) in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry from UAS, Dharwad, Karnataka during the year 1994 and Ph.D in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry from UAS, Dharwad during the year 2000 with good academic records. He has undergone National training on Soil Health Management at JNKVV, Jabalpur during the year 2014. He has an experience for over 18 years in teaching (College / KVK) / research (ARS/College / KVK) and extension (KVK / College). He has published 12 scientific full length papers in National and International Journals as author / co-author, and 6 papers presented in Symposium as author / co-author, written 3 books and 24 popular articles and released 3 technologies as co-principal investigator in package of practices book of UAS Dharwad.
