About the Author

I am Ashley, and I live in Maine with my husband, Scott, our six children and our family Newfoundland pup, Bella. As a family, we enjoy spending family time playing board games, and hiking. Most nights you will find us at one sports complex or another cheering on the kiddos in soccer, wrestling, basketball, baseball and ballet! I love watching my kids and I am their biggest fan.

Things are always pretty busy! In my not so spare time, I love to cook, and bake, read, sew and crochet, as well as the occasional home improvement project.

When our oldest boys were little, they wanted us to sing 20 songs every night before bed but we would run out of songs. So, my husband and I started making up our own songs. It seemed so silly, but to this day, our made up songs are always the most requested at bedtime! Making up songs turned into making up bedtime stories. I started to write books for the kids. They loved them so much that they wanted to share their books with the world.
