About the Author

Dr. C. Ashokvardhan is an IAS Officer of 1980 Batch and belongs to Bihar cadre. During his career as Indian Administrative Officer, he has been posted in several important Government Departments. Prior to joining Indian Administrative Service, he was teaching in Colleges as a Lecturer in Political Science. He is the author of many books and articles pertaining to issues on Land Reforms, Police Reforms, Agriculture, Rural Development etc. At present he is the Director, Consolidation (Bihar), Government of Bihar.
