The author is a forty-nine-year-old African American senior pastor of a local church in her community. She decided to write this book as a testimony to God's goodness, although she faces many trials, tribulations, and challenges in her life. Everything she has gone through has helped her become stronger and wiser than she was in the early years of her life. Without facing these challenges, she would not be the woman she is today. This book was written to help encourage others not to give up no matter how tough life gets and to remind them that God is with them during difficult and challenging times in their lives.
