About the Author

Courtney is a wife and mother to twins. She was born and raised on the South side of Chicago. She has been writing since high school and has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Despite the English degree, she held a passion for women's health to the point of obtaining a secondary Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, completing her capstone on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.
