Read an Excerpt

It was shortly after I began compiling inspirational stories for the first edition of So, What Do You Do? that a name was shared with me by several associates. The name was David Perdew. Those who told me I needed to meet David were incredulous that I had not heard of David, nor his exceptional business-building community, NAMS. I soon discovered that NAMS was an acronym for Novice-to-Advanced Marketing System.

After meeting David myself, I was incredulous with myself that I had not met him previously and that I was just becoming acquainted with the work being accomplished through his community. I knew I had to discover more about NAMS for myself.

It was early February 2014 that I was invited to speak at NAMS’ annual conference and finally had the opportunity to meet David Perdew, his charming wife Charlsa, and members of the NAMS community. What I discovered left me inspired and with a desire to become part of NAMS.

David and his team have succeeded in creating a diverse community of entrepreneurs who are givers in every sense of the word. While each determined to succeed in their respective niches, there’s a sense of family that is a rarity in the online business world. If a rising tide does indeed lift all boats, the extraordinary people who are part of the NAMS community are all on the rise.

It’s with great pride that I am pleased to present you with the second volume of "So, What Do You Do: Discovering the Genius Next Door with One Simple Question", comprised entirely of inspirational and entrepreneurial stories from the NAMS community.

Whether you devour the book in one reading or if you savor stories one day at a time, you are sure to connect with the hearts and minds of the people within. With as many unique experiences as there are contributors, I know that these stories will encourage you on your journey, cause you to see the world in different ways and provide you with valuable tips and strategies applicable to your life and business. While there are geniuses all up and down the street where you live (and at least one at your own address!), it’s my hope that the NAMS community of geniuses will inspire and equip you to keep moving forward as you seek to bring value to the world around you.

Do good stuff!
