Overview

Kassandra Keel is an intelligent, attractive, moody, sarcastic teenager. Like most seventeen year olds, Kassie is subjected to the daily hormone induced, dramatic life of a high school student. However, after begrudgingly attending a past life regression seminar, Kassie's existence as a typical teenager is changed forever. She is forced to open her pessimistic mind to the reality of her previous lives (five to be exact) in order to uncover the secrets of her current life. Making matters worse, Kassie's best friend has staked claim on the only boy to whom Kassie has ever felt magnetically drawn, a pair of feuding spirits are following her around, and she is receiving mysterious death threats from psychotic pregnant women. Being the daughter of a father as nurturing and affectionate as a black widow spider and a deceased mother, Kassie does not gracefully adapt to the added stressors. Life as she knows it is unraveling faster than she is capable of imagining.

About the Author

Writing is both pleasure and pain. The pleasure comes from the excitement of transforming the images and ideas in my mind into coherent, musical sentences. The pain comes in the form of frustration about not always having enough time in my day-to-day life to get my thoughts on paper.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts. The middle child of three. Since the moment I realized words formed sentences I was mesmerized by writing. Throughout my childhood and teen years I was continuously writing sentences, paragraphs, scenes... Every day life got in the way of allowing my creative mind to formulate a complete story.

After graduating from nursing school an oppressive weight had been lifted off my shoulders as well as my mind. I woke one morning with the entire basic outline of a novel. I started writing that very day. This time I was determined life would not stop my need to write. I started my career as a nurse on an inpatient oncology unit and I continued to write. After one year of late nights laboring on my laptop while my husband and children slept I had completed the first in a series of five books.

I continue to be a mother, a wife, a nurse, and a writer.
