About the Author

Dr Allie Mokany grew up in the Australian bush, surrounded by frogs, lizards and snakes. She went on to study reptiles at university and has published several scientific articles. She began writing for children when her own kids were searching for innovative material to read, she hopes that her books will both encourage a love of literature in children, as well as get parents to read to their kids. Allie lives in Canberra with her two children and pet lizard.
