About the Author

Tiffany McCauley
Tiffany McCauley discovered her love for cooking at age eighteen as an au pair in Stuttgart, Germany. She developed a passion for creating delicious recipes from scratch. However, after gaining 114 pounds over a 15-year period, and with the birth of her son, she learned the importance of good health. Her desire and commitment to teach her son proper nutrition inspired her to change her eating habits and take control of her weight.
In 2010, Tiffany returned to school to earn a degree as a registered dietitian and is currently working towards that goal. To date, she has lost nearly sixty pounds by following the eating style applied to the recipes in this book. In 2011, Tiffany achieved a lifelong goal of running a marathon.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Tiffany currently lives in northern California with her husband, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and their four-year-old son.

Gale Compton
A little girl growing up in the South is wrapped in a world of tradition. Looking back, Gale Compton ties her love for family and cooking to Sunday afternoons in her grandmother’s kitchen.
Gale’s early adulthood was marked by a youthful sense of culinary discovery while living for seven years in Germany. There is no question this exposure to other cultures deepened and broadened her love for the culinary arts.
Diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in less than a year, and facing the fight of her life, Gale knew she had to make powerful changes in her diet and her lifestyle. So her cupboards got clean . . . and so did Gale.
Today, Gale leads marketing and development for a growing company. She is a certified fitness trainer, wife, mom to two daughters (and five pets), and with the book you are holding, Gale is very proud to add another title to her new resume: coauthor.
