We all struggle thru life we go from moment to moment which make up our lives. We go thru joys and pains we laugh and cry we love and lose. Hope these words can bring comfort or a simple smile and help whoever reads it get thru life knowing everyone struggles thru life. These thoughts are simple in nature but I hope they grab hold and comfort those that read them. Grab hold of the good moments in life, thru the good and bad hold on to the good and life will be much easier.

Chapter One

Soul mates


From birth, we were joined.
In the womb, our love grew.
As children, we dreamed of each other.
As teenagers, we found each other.
However, the world threw us apart.
However, our love was still there.
We fought but we fought for love.
We cried to be close to each other.
Even then, we could not live without each other.
Our love was still strong.
We searched everywhere for each other.
Although we where never apart.
One phone call one drive and there you where.
One cry and I was by your side.
One whisper and I heard you.
I felt your heart beat even when I was not there.
Your pain I felt I could never flee from it.
Never doubt our love only we know it.
Through all this, we endure all.
Through all this, our love grew stronger.
Our hearts are joined forever.
Our souls have become one.
My love is yours alone.
Your love has come back to me.
You are my wife and I your husband.
The world tried to destroy us but it only gave us strength.
Be strong my heart and soul remember I love you always and forever.


Faith

Can you see the future?
If you close your eyes and open your heart.
If you do not think but believe.
All our steps are guided.
All our steps are foreseen.
Faith believing without seeing.
Doubt seeing so you do not believe.
What we see must pass away.
For a new being the past has to fade away.
To move forward we have to take a step.
So close your eyes and believe.
Feel what is in your heart not what is in your mind.
Be guided with your spirit.
Feel with your heart.
To move closer to God you have to let go of the world.
To believe you have to trust.
There is no belief without faith.
With your mind, you cannot love.
With your heart is how you love.
Faith trusting without seeing.
Faith believing even though you are afraid.
Faith not doubting not thinking.
Faith putting belief into actions.
Faith seeing things unseen.
Faith seeing the future by closing your eyes.
Believe as it is not as you see.


Day of the lord Jesus the Christ

Do you dream of better days?
Do you see a brighter future?
I see it and believe in it.
A storm can only last so long.
I see my Lord's Day coming.
A day of dread for some a day of joy for others.
Jesus will come to bring rest and peace.
He will fill our every need.
No more will we lack no more will we need.
Joy like no other love unmatched.
No more battles no more fights.
No sadness no more despair.
All will be put right.
My lord will return with strength and power.
All will bow to my lord Jesus the Christ.
He is the messiah there is no other!


Mother

Mother is the name for God in a child's eyes.
Mothers mold and shape us for days and years to come.
They carry our sorrows and joys:
They fear for us and protect us.
From birth, our first sight is our mother.
As babies, they feed and clothe us.
As children, they show us the right way to live.
As teenagers they cry and worry for us.
As adults, they try to encourage us.
We as children forget the value of a mother yet they carried us in their womb.
There is no greater place in heaven then for a great mother.
Mothers sacrifice their life for us they put their dreams aside for their children.
From their youth and strength to the wear, the years have drained from them.
They have sacrificed all for their children.
When you look at a great mother, you see our sins and hardship.
For mothers bear all our troubles in life.
Every moment of our life is imprinted on them.
In a great mother, you see the hardships of her children.
In a great mother, you see all the sorrow and unrest in our lives.
A great mother bears all life's trials with you; your scars she suffered with you.
When you cried she dried your eyes when you hurt, she bore your pain.
When we rebelled, she did not sleep.
When we became adults, we put them to the side and caused them more pain.
If you see a worn out woman beaten and broken there you will see a great mother.
When you see their youth snatched away from them, there you will see a great mother.
A great mother has all the years of her children sown into herself.
A great mother's heart testifies to the love she has for her children.


Suffering is perfection

Silence a hush then a cry.
A breath a pause then restlessness.
Peace, nothing stirring then all calm is gone.
Light surrounding everything then darkness in a breath.
World full of love and kindness now cruel and unkind.
Breath to breath one struggle to another.
Day by day from joy to pain always unclear.
Haze in the day fog fills the night.
All was there once, now everything stripped away.
We love and exhaust ourselves we cry then drain ourselves.
We struggle to strengthen ourselves only to fall weak in time.
We protect ourselves only to be overtaken.
If all things are put in order confusion will always crawl in.
Setting a course confident in its outcome only to fall short.
So sure of decision made only to see wrong in them.
Confidence only to be replaced by doubt.
Feeling secure only to be left afraid.
Close to a dream only for it to slip away.
Close to fulfillment only to be left empty.
Yet through it all a ray of light shines through.
Yet through the pain and joy comes all peace.
The struggle in this life has brought about perfection.


Path to Growth

Do you see the stars?
Does not the sun shine?
Days and nights go by.
Years pass as if not there.
Yet, our lord is forever.
As babies, we need care.
As children, we need guidance.
As teenagers, we rebel.
As adults, we struggle.
As we pass on in years, we wish we could do it again.
Jesus has grown and groomed us.
He has lifted us and carried us.
At our lowest, he was there.
At our hardest times, he embraced us.
His love has never failed.
His love has never faded.
We are beaten and broken but not defeated.
We will struggle on and prevail.
For our lord commands all.
For he has never left us.
All belongs to him.


Change

Today is a day like no other.
Tomorrow is a day yet to be seen.
We live in a world of sorrow.
Yet, I see a grander world in the future.
Where there once was evil only good will stay.
A change is coming a change for the better.
We will all be witness to a grander day.
I feel the time is near.
Where once was turmoil now there will be peace.
A day of enlightenment is coming.
A day of rebirth.
This world will be cleansed evil will disappear.
Time where neighbor will help neighbor.
Where once there was darkness there will only be light.
Jesus is coming to set the world right.


Longing for change

As time goes on, we wait for correction.
We pray and plead for justification.
We live in a world twisted and upside down.
Those that have keep for themselves.
Those that do not, have to struggle once again.
All that we are yet not even close to what we should be.
All the greatness we have been given yet we throw it all away.
God has made us great among all creatures yet we do not understand.
We are meant to rule all creatures he has put no one above us but him yet we do not see.
Jesus the Christ sacrificed all for us did what we could not do yet we throw that gift away.
How great Jesus' love is for us yet we do not see.
Our father through all the evil we do yet his love never changes.
I ask our Lord every day for his forgiveness for we still do not see our wrongs.
I thank you Jesus for your patience and love for us all.


Life

You have been given a gift of eternal life.
You shall always be and never fade.
Jesus pours his love upon you his embrace is near.
If you need to feel God, stand in the wind.
If you need to see God, look at the sky and all that surrounds it.
If you want to see his love look at the cross and you will see his love.
Jesus loves us all you are his children.
He will never abandon you he will always be there.
He will always protect you and defend you.
His love is forever it never fades.
His embrace will always lift your spirits.
His voice will always sooth you.
He loved you so much he died for you.


Love

Love; do you know what love is?
Love is sacrifice giving all you have to give.
Love puts everyone above you and seeks nothing in return.
Love is a sunset at the beach.
Love is the stars in the sky.
Love is a person's touch and embrace.
Love is the sound of someone's voice you cannot do without.
Love is remembering every feature of someone's face.
Love is moments that seem to last a lifetime.
Love is uncontrollable, emotions that cannot be controlled.
Love lifts you to the heavens it lets you fly.
Love fills your heart with an uncontrollable beat.
Love ties your stomach in knots.
Love fills your mind with thoughts of joy.
Love fills your soul with the peace of you that was missing.
Love is an answer to all your prayers.
Love forgives all it does not remember wrongs.
Love drives passion and pleasures.
Love; do you know what love is?


Moments

Moments come and go in a flash they are done.
Moments grab hold of us and do not let go.
You move down a road moving from moment to moment.
One breath and another moment passes; one blink and another roles by.
You wish you can extend these moments but you cannot.
You look in someone's eyes, you drive by someone just moments.
You have a child; you are at your wedding day just moments.
You walk down the street and smell a sweet smell just moments.
You eat a great meal, you see a great film just moments.
Moments make up life they are what makes us who we are.
In a moment you fall in love.
In a moment, you learn to smile.
In a moment, you learn to cry.
Moments reach out and grab you they do not let go.
Moment to moment you learn who you are.
In a breath someone is there the next they are gone just a moment.
As time goes on you will have so many moments hold on to them and do not let go.
For once that moment is gone you cannot reclaim it.
Learn to love every moment your life is those moments.


Silence

Silence has captured the moment loneliness has filled the heart.
Punishment brought forth by fear, just as it is.
A cry for forgiveness a hand reaches out in the darkness.
The heart hopes not to be left alone begging for a sound.
Every sound, but the one needy to be heard.
Every moment grows longer every second multiplied.
Foolishness brought me here fear drove out reason.
My stumble was great my actions where weak
Hurt filled your heart emptiness fills mine.
Forgive a fool let the fool try again.
I need a sound missed, I need to be repaired.
On my knee's I beg for my ears to hear once more.
I have frightened you and brought anger to your heart.
I deserve this pain it is just what you do.
Have pity on me take a moment to breath.
Remember the good in me not the mistakes I have made.
Remember the joy we share not the sorrow I caused.
I know the heart has to heal and anger has to cool.
I hope for forgiveness I long for a sound.
That sound I long for is the sound of your voice.


Love in a breath

In all things the love I have is still there.
I still dream of you and smile you are always with me.
Your smell surrounds me your voice rings in my ears.
I think of you and my heart is filled.
I fought so hard but you slipped away.
I gave so much all the love I had.
Yet it was not enough I am still here alone.
My thoughts are of you my soul misses you.
The days are empty the nights are long.
I need you even though you have forgotten me.
For a while, you enjoyed my light now I am only a burden.
In all I never stopped loving you.
In all I stayed with you.
Yet, you abandon me you left me alone.
You crushed my heart but I still love you.
You destroyed everything that I am but I still want you back.
I am so sad and cannot recover.
I need my heart back I need my soul.
I have always loved you and always will.
As my last breath leaves my body, I will think of you.
You are my soul you complete me.
We are one and always will be.
Yet, you have forgotten me you have left me alone.
I will go on but I will be empty without you.
I will live but I will not be living.
My heart will beat but always be incomplete.
I love you my heart I love all that you are.
One day I hope you remember me.


Can you feel it?

Love a feeling unmatched.
Can you feel it does it reside in you.
It makes you soar and fly.
It makes your heart beat ever so fast.
It makes your stomach get tied into knots.
You try to think but you cannot.
You try to fight it but you cannot resist.
At times, you lose your breath.
At times you cannot speak.
Do you feel that love does it reside in you.
Love so deep not a day goes by without a thought of each other.
When apart your heart aches.
When together your heart sings.
You dream of each other.
Moments seem to last forever, days seem like years.
Do you know that feeling does it reside within you.
I know that feeling it resides within me.


Alone

Love, Love so strong love so deep.
Everything yet nothing at all.
Time passes time moves on.
Dream the dream of dreams.
Love so strong it makes you weak.
Wanting something yet receiving nothing at all.
Holding on just for it to slip by.
In the mind, it sits and lingers.
Love so deep I cannot control.
Everything there but I cannot reach it.
Wanting a moment wanting time to stop.
Wanting to wake up yet I cannot.
My heart wants it is empty.
My heart wants yet it cannot have.
My heart needs so it screams.
I gasp I stop to breath.
My heart beats yet I am not alive.
My soul yearns for it to be complete.
My body shakes my heart weeps.
I love yet have nothing at all.
I need for I am not complete.
Therefore, I sit and wonder.
How can I love and have nothing at all?


Lost

Lights are dimmed sound is missing.
I dream of my heart I search for her.
I lay in emptiness I am restless without you.
The body craves that hidden touch.
The soul cries for a moment of completion.
The lips thirst for the quench of love.
Loneliness' has gripped me emptiness has surrounded me.
Sleep flees from me peace has been stolen.
A hollow night a day of despair.
Moments flash by the sun rises and falls.
Where is that lost love, where is my fulfillment.
She drives far from me she has stripped me.
A thought consumes me a craving has overcome me.
I try to flee from this moment I try to resist.
I am captured and ensnared I have fought and lost.
My thoughts move rapidly my flesh has overwhelmed me.
I am lost without you I am incomplete without your touch.
I need to be filled I need my thirst to be quench.
Return to me and relieve my torture.
Return to me and complete my soul once again.
Bring me peace once again let your touch embrace me once more.
Pour out your love thru a kiss pour out your needs thru your touch once more.
Come to me and complete me again come to me and give me rest once more.


Raindrops falling

Raindrops falling are Gods tears.
Falling upon us just as tears fall on others.
He cries for us because we are his children.
With his tears, he wipes away all the blood spilt on the earth.
The quiet and calm brings peace at least for an instant.
After the rain, it all goes back to the way it was.


Sunsets

Our last meeting we saw our last sunset together.
It seemed to last forever almost as if just for us.
Her hair and eyes seemed to shine bright as the last glimmer of the sunset.
The red in the sky paled to the beauty in her stare that night.
Forever that look would be lost just like that sunset.
Never again to see or, be with her lost forever.
In time, there will be other sunsets and other stares from women; but none will ever match that
sunset that last night together.
Like a jewel just at the tip of your fingers; but then LOST FOREVER!


Never apart

When did I miss you?
I miss you always.
When did I love you?
I loved you always.
How long did I pray for you?
I prayed everyday and every night.
When did I cry out to you?
Every day and every night even in my dreams.
When have I touched you?
I feel you in my heart so I touch you always.
When have I kissed you?
Every day when my fingers touch my lips I feel your kiss.
When did I hold you?
Forever in my arms you remain.
When did we make love?
Always for we are one.
When did you marry me?
From birth to death, we are joined.
How have I loved you?
I have given all my heart to you.
What are we together?
We are one heart and soul.


Someone will pick you up

When you're sad smile and think of a sunset.
When you're mad let go and look at the trees and sky.
When you cry, dry your eyes and look at the stars.
Beauty is everywhere it is never far from you.
If you fall, I will try to pick you up.
If I fall, I know you will pick me up.
Remember my love for you it is still there.
Remember my heartaches too it feels.
Your smile is still with me remember mine.
Do not look at the bad remember all the good in life.
Your pain is mine your hurt is with me.
If life gets harder breathe and it will be ok.
If something hurts pray and Jesus will take the pain away.
If you need to cry it is ok, that is perfection of prayer.
Jesus loves you with all his heart, all his might, think about him and you will feel his love.
