Not all of us were into dolls and girly stuff. Some of us played in the dirt, could run faster, spit further and climb higher than any boy in our whole neighborhood. Candys Mayo is a Youngstown, Ohio native and one of the standouts in her field. She has over 21 years of exposure to Engineering and knew very early on that it was something she wanted to do forever. Candys has had an explosive career as an Engineering Designer helping to design Ships for the Navy and Coastguard. She's worked at various Engineering firms, from Seattle to Florida before branching off and starting her own in 2015.

Girls empowerment and hard work are nothing new to the once teen mom turned CEO. Beating challenging situations is kind of a way of life for her. So giving back and showing a different avenue for girls who have a story similar to her's is something she takes very seriously.
