About the Author

Kabir was born and raised in New York City. Infused with his Indian heritage and inspired by the multicultural influences of his neighborhood, Kabir is authentically American in spirit. His passion for creative writing as a youngster often led him to recitation of self-created poems , songs and raps at family events leading to him being frequently asked , “Did you truly write that?” Kabir started working on Sillygoose: Tint of Light when he was eleven years old as a story that started out as a fun diversion with his friends. During the writing process, this book took on a different meaning to Kabir, where he discovered a calling and personal fulfillment in writing fiction. At present Kabir is working on the sequel to this book as he balances his time between his writing interests and middle school at the United Nations International School.
