If there were circumstances, we could not control as a child, we have to understand how it is affecting us now and how we can fix ourselves today without limitations. We have to find ways to resolve things that come because of our broken past and help us see through the lenses of healing. If we explore how these past experiences are affecting us, we can have a frame of reference, something to compare our experiences with and hopefully identify the things that need conquering and healing.
We all have been tested in life at some point because of our past experiences, and some of us have fallen short of becoming who we think we should be today. Sometimes we are not loving ourselves the way we should be loved and not giving love how we should be giving it.
