About the Author

Phoua Yang is a 23 year old model and punk metal band vocalist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who made these 20 poems within a year, composing a book that’s based on one of her favorite video games, Dark Souls, and the unspoken darkness she keeps to herself everyday; hence the title of the book, “Silence”.

These poems express her dark thoughts, emotions, and perspectives of her journey about the changes she went through regarding relationships, friendships, life itself, and her inner demons.
She enjoys playing video games, cosplaying, reading comics and manga, longboarding, and creating art.
