About the Author

When Ellynore Seybold was just a kid, she knew she wanted to be a writer. Her first book, The Wooden Mistress, was published in 1994. Then in 2012, Smith was diagnosed with cancer. She thought, if it was time to die, okay. After all, her husband was waiting on the other side. Then a miracle happened, and the tumor turned benign. Smith saw this as a message from God that she had better do something creative with the rest of her life. And she began to write in earnest.
