About the Author

Celli Arenas has been writing since the age of seven. She believes that writing is a way to get in touch with one�s best self. She says, �writing, directing, producing, and engaging an audience is my passion and my purpose.� Celli is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Senior High School. She earned her bachelor�s degree in 1997, from Florida A & M University, in English Languages and Literature. Immediately after graduating from Florida A& M University in 1997, she began her career as a public school educator. Celli earned her master�s degree, in English Education, at Nova Southeastern University in 2001. Her first short story, �A Windy Day at the Bus Stop� won best fiction in 2001 in Nova Southeastern University's Student Writer�s Competition. Soon after earning her master�s degree Celli pursued her doctorate at Nova Southeastern University in Educational and Organizational Leadership. She is currently a doctoral candidate, having satisfied all coursework, and is currently completing her doctoral dissertation. Celli has been a featured writer for MIA Magazine, Success Magazine, Legacy Magazine, and she is the host blogger at www.cellibration.com. Arenas is the author and publisher of �30 Days of Dynamic Pursuit� and �Sidetracked: He Use to Love Me�, set to debut in June of 2012. Celli says this about her experiences as an author: �I have always been a writer and producer. I wrote my first story when I was about seven years old. I drew the pictures and bound it all by myself. Writing has always been a major part of my life. I write letters and stories when I am happy, sad, angry, want to tell jokes, or tell someone how much I love them. I am constantly editing, obsessing over how to phrase my thoughts. This is what God has given me to share with you. I hope you will accept the gift.� In addition to her writing projects, Arenas is producing and directing film projects for several different organizations. Her clients include The 100 Black Men of South Florida and Lions and Kittens. Arenas hosts her own charity/lifestyle web series, www.MIA-Live.net.
