About the Author

Tim Farren was born and raised in the State of Maine. He spent much of his teen years exploring the vast wilderness areas of Maine and has a great love for the outdoors and nature. Tim spent six years in the US Military as a flight crewmember, which allowed him to travel extensively around the world and fueled his passion for travel and experiencing other cultures. In 1995, after spending close to a month in Africa he partnered up with a local Zimbabwean and started a safari company. Several years later he and his wife operate a successful business that allows them the luxury of spending time each year in their home away from home, Africa. When not in Africa Tim and his wife are back in their home state of Maine enjoying their family and the woods and waters of Maine.
