About the Author

Lorrie Moore nació en Glens Falls (Nueva York) en 1957. Es autora de tres libros de relatos, Autoayuda (1985), Como la vida misma (1990) y Pájaros de América (1998), finalista del National Book Critics Circle Award y elegido por Entertainment Weekly como uno de los cincuenta mejores libros de los últimos veinticinco años; y de tres novelas, Anagramas (1986), El hospital de ranas (1994) y Al pie de la escalera (Seix Barral, 2009).
