About the Author

I've always been fascinated with spiders. Jumping spiders, especially, are quite unique in their apparent curiosity and mannerisms. Although they don't think the way we do, I've always wondered what life must be like for them. They are from the family Salticidae, so I thought it would be fun to call my group of spiders, the Saltys. This name also lends it to some of the personality traits found within. I love children and seeing their curiosity blossom while learning about something new and exciting. I hope to spark a little of that in these stories while sending young minds on exciting adventures and feeding them knowledge to ignite their curiosity.
