About the Author

Dr. Carl P. Giordano graduated from Rutgers Medical School in 1986 and then completed an Orthopedic residency and felllowship in Spinal Surgery in 1994 at the Hospital for Joint Diseases - Orthopedic Institute in New York City. He has subsequently worked for twenty years as a spinal surgeon. Along the way, he has published numerous journal articles and book chapters in authoritative medical publications as well as having developed and received patents for spinal implants. He has received numerous awards and continues to lecture throughout the United States.
