Overview

Mr. Bear moved out west to follow his dream of becoming a sheriff in an old western town. He makes friends and finds adventure in the small community of Green Camp.

Sheriff Bear is the first of a series of stories in the Green Camp Chronicles. Through them I promote old-fashioned values and ideals which also brings happiness to children who identify with the characters.

About the Author

Having lived in many geographic areas of the United States, I have experienced the essence of the country in terms of people, lifestyles and weather conditions. In several western states I gained vast knowledge of desert flora and fauna to prepare myself for “learning tours” during which I interacted with people from all over the country. I have also worked in the business world and have raised four children. This varied knowledge and experience was used to create stories of both value and enjoyment. The locations are based on actual places.
