About the Author

Sharon M. Jones is an illustrious, energetic Non-fiction Author/Motivational speaker, and Contemporary Gospel singer, and her multifaceted platform has touched people worldwide.

Sharon was born in Jamaica, West Indies, and raised in England, the United States and Africa. Sharon has been a motivational speaker for 20+ years. Sharon has been married to her husband for 33 years, and she is the mother of four children and three grandchildren.

Sharon earned her BA Degree in Maternal Child Health and has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant for over 15 years, a workshop presenter and Parenting Educator. Sharon earned Double Master Degrees in Counseling psychology/Forensic psychology and a Certification in Pastoral counseling at Holy Names University in Oakland, California.

Sharon is completing her PhD. studies in Social Justice and Higher education from Union Institute & University with a focus on complex trauma and its impact on the lives of African American youth living the California Eastbay area.

Sharon is the Executive Director of New Insight Family support Services where she provides community educational services for high-risk/at-risk youth impacted by the Juvenile Justice and Probation system.

Sharon is the Executive Director of An Adopted Child Community, an online blog organization for adult adoptees. Sharon successfully released 2 CD Projects, titled I won't Complain in 2006 and Miracles in 2008.
