Overview

The action manga bestseller returns, in 600-page editions featuring a remastered translation and new cover art by creator Hiroyuki Takei! Dive into the classic Shonen Jump adventure whose world of mystical spirits and bewitching battles inspired the classic anime.

This volume corresponds to Vol. 19-21 of the original release, featuring updated translation and lettering, back in print more than 20 years after its initial release!

A battle with Hao’s minions leaves Ren defeated and lifeless. To save him, Yoh makes a deal with Jeanne the Iron Maiden and withdraws from the Shaman Fight. Disappointed but not surprised, Anna recalls the day she and Yoh first met at Mt. Osore. Their story is told through an epic poem written by the split-tailed cat, Matamune, Yoh’s first spirit ally. The tale also sheds light on Hao’s surprising origins. Will Yoh’s decision to quit the Shaman Fight prove he followed his heart—or will it all be in vain?
