About the Author

Richard Guerard is the father of two and was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He has not received the Nobel Prize for Literature and has not been Knighted by the Queen. He does not have a PhD in English, and has not won a spelling bee; however, he can tell one hell of a story.

Shadows of the 8 -Volume 1 is the first novel in a series of 8. Richard's love and knowledge of espionage and the shadow world led to the pen striking paper. His writing is the product of memory and of familiar characters. His style and vivid descriptions are not unlike many a take that has been told from a stool in the corner of a darkened Irish pub.

A product of an all-boys Military Catholic High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology, Richard's sense of comradely and adventure can be found in these pages.
