SHADOWFIRE

One event becomes a catalyst for a revolution.

As worlds start to collide, and magic starts to destroy the universe, one woman finds herself a pawn of a conspiracy that has been brewing for decades.

Three years ago, Briara Disraeli was a 19-year-old pre-med school student and aerialist at Vanderbilt University. Avoiding detection from her best friend and boyfriend, she often hopped onto international flights, donned aliases, and completed mysterious mission objectives under the direction of her mentor. Until she became the sole suspect of the Denver Union Station Massacre while she was on one of these missions, was convicted, and sentenced to life in prison.

After three years of being incarcerated, an antagonistic and cursed seraph is ordered to help Briara escape from jail. Upon her escape, Bria learns she is a mage. As she navigates this new world that borders the mortal one, she juggles three requests from the mage chancellor: master her magic; infiltrate a rebel organization; and assist in creating a paradise. This new opportunity to change her life is anything but peaceful. She is unable to master her magic. She starts the descent into insanity as her magic continues to massacre the international mortal community. Yet, conspiracy and political intrigue are closer than she knows, lying in wait to use Bria as the ultimate pawn in a game that's been brewing for decades.
