Thomas Franklin is involved in an experiment to control the darkness and command shadows, but far within his soul, he harbors a deeper darkness that may consume him. This secret is tearing him apart from Francie DeWitt, the woman he loves. As Franklin gains control of the darkness and shadows, he begins a physical change where he evolves into an unstoppable creature. Will he be able to adjust to this change and use it for good? Will he ever have the woman he loves or will Lewis Avery take everything away from him as his forefather had many years ago?

About the Author

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Fay E. Simon nurtured and developed a love for writing from an early age. She started out writing short stories for an English class, and took first place in several local short story and poetry contests. In high school, she served as a member of the editorial staff of the creative writing magazine and wrote a number of short skits for her acting class. Fay tried her hand at writing several different screenplays (still in progress), only to return to her first love, writing novels. Today she lives near Los Angeles where she continues to write and coach new writers online.
