Shades of ElseWhere: Book One of the Umbra Cycle, Uncut
The fate of two worlds rests on the shoulders of a sixteen year old loner. Will he be able to save them, or herald their destruction?
Description What is your (hidden) purpose?
Why are you (never) here?
What is your (true) nature?
Why does everyone (have to) die?
The first of seven volumes, Shades of ElseWhere blends science and sorcery, physics and magic, and truth and deception.
Set partially in a small town in Kansas, Alexander Aedelstand Appolyon leads a humdrum and sheltered life, not aware of the coming conflict ahead of him, and his role in it. On his painful journey, his very humanity is put to the test, and he must decide the fate of the human race. Will he allow many to die in order to save a few, or will he choose to save the worlds instead, condemning the human race to extinction?
