Overview

Why don't women report sexual harassment in the military? Because it is dangerous to complain about sexual harassment or retaliation. The National Guard is perhaps the most dangerous of all military entities. Even the United States Federal government couldn't protect me from sexual harassment by the Missouri National Guard - and I was a civilian.

The recent focus on sexual harassment in the military is long overdue. The National Guard needs to be included in the scrutiny. The Missouri National Guard is a closed system - only the National Guard Adjutant General has jurisdiction over crimes and investigations (or lack of investigations) and the National Guard is exempt from Sunshine Law reporting to the public.
If the Missouri National Guard could successfully cover up a murder inside an armory - they are above scrutiny.

This book is a must read if you know anyone who is secretly suffering sexual harassment - whistleblowers suffer retaliation - we the public must blow the whistle for those who cannot protect themselves!
